1. Introduction.
The Reaver.
The reaver is always at the front of battle and always the one doing the dps. If a raid or a group has no reavers usually there is a very obvious drop in the dps.

DPS = Damage per second (many just use it to mean damage, though).

Reavers are orcs and hence they have several racial traits that are more suited for a reaver rather than a defiler. Reavers are good in both PVE (NPC killing – bots) and PVP (player v player – or in lotro, PVMP).

Like Nozrog, I recognise I am not the best player at my class, this is impossible to claim as there is no way of measuring a player’s skill. I happen to know a fair bit about the reaver and my reaver is fairly high-ranked.

This guide is a pre-MoM guide (Mines of Moria) and hence it will be updated once Moria has been released and we can get you some more info.

Rat = Raid assist target
Dps = Damage per second
PvP = Player v Player
PvE = Player v Enviroment (basically just v bots, so not PVP)
NPC = Non Player character – it means a bot.
NCO = Non Combat Only
ICB = In combat
NCB = Non combat
ASAP = As Soon As Possible

PvE = not sure what it stands for, but Player v Bot (computer/npc) = Player versus Enviorment (think I misspelled Enviorment?)

NPC = Non-Player Character
